Dr. Yannick Leclerc
Dr. Yannick Leclerc, MD, is a family physician and aesthetic injection physician practicing in aesthetic medicine, minor surgery, and phlebology.
From a young age, Dr. Yannick Leclerc developed a strong interest in both the arts and sciences, a dual passion that shaped his academic and professional path from an early stage. With an unconventional background in biology and research, he has participated in numerous studies throughout his career, including experimental organogenesis research and work with severely burned patients at Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal under the supervision of plastic surgeons.
Initially entering medical school with the goal of becoming a plastic surgeon, he ultimately chose family medicine, a specialty that allows him to provide comprehensive, personalized care to patients of all ages, from childhood through later life. His training has been enriched by multiple rotations in plastic surgery, dermatology, and research.
He earned his medical degree from Université Laval in Québec in 2016 and completed his family medicine residency in 2019. In 2020, he began practicing at Hôpital Pierre-Boucher in Longueuil, where he has worked as a hospitalist, in palliative care, family medicine, as well as sexual health and gender-affirming hormone therapy, particularly in Montréal and Longueuil.
In 2021, he trained in aesthetic medicine and began practicing in this field alongside his other medical activities, despite the challenges of the pandemic. Committed to providing safe, high-quality care at the forefront of current practices, he continues to pursue professional development through conferences and continuing education to stay up to date with the latest techniques.
