Dr. Beauregard-Totaro

Dr. Carolane Beauregard-Totaro has been a vascular surgeon since 2015. She earned her medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, then completed her residency in vascular surgery at the Université de Montréal. She subsequently pursued further training through a fellowship in advanced endovascular surgery at McGill University.

She began her practice in vascular, endovascular, and venous surgery at Hôpital de Joliette in 2016, before continuing her career at Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme in 2022, where she continues to practice today.

Specializing in the treatment of venous conditions, Dr. Beauregard-Totaro has comprehensive expertise in modern phlebology. She is experienced in the full range of current treatment approaches for varicose veins, including visual sclerotherapy, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, endovenous treatments, the latest non-thermal vein occlusion techniques, as well as conventional open surgery (saphenectomy).

This versatility allows her to assess each patient in a thorough and personalized manner. Rather than favoring a single technique, she tailors treatment options to each patient’s venous anatomy, symptoms, and individual goals. Her approach is based on individualized care, attentive clinical assessment, and the use of the most appropriate techniques for each situation.
